A PIGEON LOFT AND CHICKEN COOP went up in flames in an arson attack on allotment plots this morning.
Firefighters called to the blaze at Hunningley allotments, Hunningley Lane, Stairfoot, found six buildings alight. The incident was reported at 4am.
Crews from Cudworth, Tankersley and Barnsley stations said when they arrived the sheds were engulfed in flames.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the sheds contained any birds.
