A NEW GP service has seen more than 2,000 patients use it in the last five months.
iHEART, which offers telephone appointments, nurse triage and extra appointments, aims to give people better access to care through social media and the internet.
The service is also hoping to offer online booking, email consultations, video conferencing, telephone assessments and follow ups in the near future.
More than 500 people are visiting two hubs at Woodland Drive Medical Centre, off Broadway, and Chapelfield Medical Centre in Wombwell every week.
