BARNSLEY HOSPITAL has been selected as a finalist in a national awards scheme.
The The Friends and Family Test (FFT) Awards were set up to recognise NHS providers who are going the extra mile in their work to listen to patients and staff.
The FFT is a national scheme that aims to find out from patients, quickly and anonymously, how they rate their latest experience of NHS care or treatment.
There are five categories and Barnsley Hospital has made the shortlist for the Best FFT initiative in the any other NHS-funded service category.
Jill Pell, Head of Patient Experience at Barnsley Hospital, said: “We are absolutely delighted that we have been shortlisted for this award and it is testament to the hard work of not only the Patient Experience Team but staff across the Trust."
