HANDGUN wielding robbers stole cash from a Worsbrough Common bookies.

Police are appealing for information after the robbery on Saturday, 20 February, that took place between 7.55-8.05pm.

It is reported that a member of staff was leaving the shop when he was forced back inside the building by two men.

Once inside the men - who were believed to be in possession of a handgun and a hammer - are said to have threatened the man and another member of staff before stealing cash and mobile phones.

No one was injured during the incident.
