THOUSANDS of domestic abuse cases have been recorded in Barnsley in just one year.
A council report providing an overview of the work being done in relation to domestic abuse and sexual violence in Barnsley shows 6,259 domestic abuse incidents were reported during 2014/15 with 1,295 of those recorded as crimes.
A review of domestic and sexual violence support services is now being conducted.
