AN AREA at a busy supermarket was cordoned off as fire crews battled a security van blaze.
Crews were called to Tesco at Stairfoot for a fire in a G4S security van that was parked near the front entrance.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on Tuesday, when shoppers were asked to stay inside as crews tackled the blaze.
