A MAN has suffered smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire.
Crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley stations were called to the mid-terrace house on Farrer Street at 9pm on Monday night.
The man, believed to be in his 30’s, had left a pan on the cooker which had caught fire.
Firefighters used hose reels to bring the fire under control.
The man went to hospital with smoke inhalation.
