A COMMUNITY centre car park is being used by boy racers as a meeting place for a convoy who speed along the village, residents claim.
Locals have asked police to clamp down on the cars meeting in Shafton before someone is injured.
A resident said: "Screeching tyres, revving engines and loud exhausts are daily occurrences.”
A spokesman from Barnsley Council revealed that the local authority and South Yorkshire Police are working together to put an end to the problem.
