A BUSY road which has been named as an accident black spot by locals will be covered in double-yellow lines to finally clamp down on parking problems.
An investigation into accidents on Racecommon Road have showed 12 crashes in five years on the same stretch - four of them involved school children pedestrians.
Now, sections of Racecommon Road, between Town End roundabout and Longcar Lane, will become 'no-waiting at any time' zones.
Some local businesses were opposed to the plan, due to losing on-street parking but the plan was rubberstamped last week.
