New registrar service comes to Wombwell

LOCALS will be able to register births, deaths and marriages at Wombwell Library from now on.

Previously the Barnsley Registrat service only run from the town hall - but it has already been expanded into Goldthorpe and Royston and Wombwell is next on the list.

Jenny Platts said: “These community based services mean people can register births, deaths and marriages without having to travel into the town centre.”
