RESIDENTS have rescued horses that were found on an Athersley housing estate.
Emma Mason said it took six locals to herd the horses to safety as they were loose - they were moved to a safer spot on Newstead Road until police and RSPCA could offer help.
Emma is now trying to trace the owners and posted on our Facebook wall earlier today.
