A LIST of the roads in Barnsley that has been relined has been revealed - after WABers quizzed why the white lines on the town's roads were fading.
Barnsley Council issued a statement to say that lining maintenance comes through to the council via street inspectors, public requests and www.fixmystreet.com reports.
A spokesman said: "Any complaints received which are not deemed a safety risk are monitored and generally put into the next year’s work."
The following roads have been relined this year:·
A6195 Dearne valley Parkway from Birdwell through to Hickleton
· A637 Huddersfield road, Darton
· A629 Halifax Road, Hoylandswaine to Wortley
· A628 Hoylandswaine Bypass
· Finkle Street Lane, Wortley
· B6462 Huddersfield Road, Penistone
