A MOTHER from Royston gave birth to the biggest baby recorded in recent years at Barnsley Hospital yesterday.
Proud parents, Kirsty Brooke and Kieran Lockwood are celebrating the arrival of their son who weighed 12Ib 10oz.
Carter Ky Nigel Lockwood was delivered by caesarean section on Wednesday, October 7.
Grandmother, Doreen Brooke, said: "I am very proud of my daughter. Her first son was 10lb 6oz. I was in total shock."
