A WOMAN is appealing for people to contact the police if they are unknowingly offered goods stolen from her dad's van in Shafton.

Jessica Mann explained that thieves broke into the silver Toyota van in the early hours of Sunday (August 30) morning when it was parked on Broomcliffe Gardens.

She said: "They removed the glass from the back window and climbed in. It looks like they cut round the rubber with a knife."

A first fixing paslode nail gun and bosch sds cordless drill were taken from within.

Jessica said: "The items have my dad and uncle's firm R.I.K written all over them in black permanent marker. They are really expensive and cannot afford to be replaced."

Anyone with information about the stolen goods should call police on 101.
