BARNSLEY firefighters will be washing cars as part of a national charity event.
Money raised will go to The Fire Fighter’s Charity which supports injured firefighters and their families.
Firefighters at Barnsley station on Broadway will be washing cars from 11am on Sunday, September 13.
As well as washing cars, firefighters will also be on hand to offer road and fire safety advice, along with promoting their free home safety checks.
