A FATHER is appealing for information after his 15-year-old daughter was "scared senseless" when four men tried to break-in when she was home alone.
Police searched the area following the incident on High Street in Shafton at around 8.20pm on August 25. Unfortunately they were unable to find the men responsible.
Father, Ricky Lee Jones, said: "Four men in their 20's tried to get in to my house - trying both doors and banging on the patio door. Our Ellie was alone in the house at the time and scared senseless.
"Two of them were well built with short dark hair, with dark jumpers, both looked very similar. Another had blonde curly hair, of slim build, with a grey jacket. She didn't get a good enough look at the fourth one."
Luckily the house was not broken into and no one was injured in the incident.
