PARENTS are spending an average of £240 per child preparing for the new school term.
The research by Santander reveals the cost of kitting out school kids with clothes, books, stationery and other items in preparation for the new school term.
It also shows parents roughly spend £50 per school child every week during term time on things such as packed lunches, bus fares, school trips and after-school activities.
WABers do you think this is a realistic figure? Is too much demand being put on parents financially these days?
