A MAN has been arrested for making a hoax bomb threat at the Alhambra Centre in Barnsley town centre.
Staff received a call from the man saying he had placed a bomb in the shopping centre at around 12.20pm on Sunday, August 23.
The Alhambra Centre was evacuated and police officers carried out an extensive search.
A man from Kendray was arrested and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
