A SHOCKING letter circulated to parents warning of two people in Barnsley who are posing as Social Workers is fake.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson has confirmed that there is "no truth in the allegations".
Concerned parents contacted WAB about the credibility of the letter.
It said: "Please be aware that there have been reports of two people in Barnsley posing as Social Workers. In the incident they told parents that the Health Visitor had notified them that their children were abused. The parents did ask them for ID and they produced some which to the parents looked credible. They asked the parents to strip the two children and then took photographs of them."
