A COMPETITION has been launched following the demolition of Kendray Street bridge.
Barnsley Council’s Better Barnsley Team are inviting members of the public to guess how many days of demolition work on site they think it will take for contractors to demolish all the buildings in this phase of the redevelopment scheme.
This includes - Kendray Street bridge, Market Parade footbridge and Central Offices main block.
The winner will receive prizes including high street shopping vouchers.
People are asked to email their guess to property@barnsley.gov.uk with their answer in the subject line.
The closing date for entries is Friday, August 28 and the winner will be announced at the end of the demolition period.
