THE design for the new temporary covered market on the site of the old Central Offices has been unveiled by Barnsley Council.
Semi open market traders will be based in this building for up to three years while the council remodel and refurbish the Metropolitan Centre.
When the Metropolitan Centre is finished, it will included a new food court and cafe area on the first floor.
There will be a terrace overlooking the new public square, new lifts, escalators and toilets.
