CCTV could be placed at Penistone Skate Park following concerns about drinking and drug taking which is intimidating young people.
The new priority for Penistone PACT is to tackle anti-social behaviour at the skate park.
Youngsters using skate boards or scooters have been left feeling intimated by older men gathering.
There has been evidence of drinking, drug taking and some suggestion that property has been taken from the young people who are using the skate park for legitimate reasons.
Police Inspector Julie Mitchell said: "BMBC Parks department are looking to make the area safer by removing some of the solid panels on the skating structure to reduce hiding places and we are looking into whether CCTV can be provided."
All are welcome to attend the next PACT meeting which will be held at 7pm at Pendon House on Thursday, September 3.
