RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on plans to stop using Kendray Resource Centre on Thornton Road to deliver the children's library.

Instead the service would be relocated to Sunnybank Children’s Centre where there is already a small collection of resources suitable for children aged up to four years.

The proposal is for the collection to be extended to cover primary school age children.

If this is accepted the current public access to Kendray Children’s Library will close on Friday, September 4.

The extended collection would then be available from Sunnybank Children’s Library from Monday, September 14.

The survey can also be completed online at http://consult.barnsley.gov.uk/portal from Friday, August 7 to Friday, August 28.
