THE Alice in Wonderland Experience arrives at Cannon Hall on Sunday, August 9.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Lewis Caroll’s classic tale, people can see it come to life across nine stages in the hall’s park and gardens.

Characters will perform the story of the young girl who falls into a weird and wonderful world of giant mushrooms, mad hatters and insects bigger than humans.

The interactive show will lead people on a trail through the woods and walled gardens.

Visitors can take a seat at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and challenge the life sized chess pieces to a real life game.
