BARNSLEY Council is calling for potential foster carers to come forward and help find children homes in the area.
Foster carers provide a lifeline to children whose circumstances mean they can no longer live with their own families.
There is an ongoing need for more foster carers to come forward in Barnsley. Financial support and practical guidance is offered.
Anyone considering fostering is invited to attend an information evening at Barnsley Town Hall from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, July 29.
The event is an opportunity to get more information, ask questions of the team and speak with current carers about their real-life experiences.
