HOYLAND Common Falcons will use extra funding to create a new team for disabled under 15-year-olds.

They have received a grant worth £3000 from the Football Foundation as part of their Grow the Game initiative which aims to increase participation in sport.

MP Michael Dugher has congratulated the local club.

He said: "It’s really good news that the Falcons have received this grant which will help local people get involved in grassroots football.

“The money will help improve public health and participation in sport, and it’s great that disabled young people will be able to join the new Under-15’s team. I hope they have a fantastic season!”
