Cycling championships road closures

THE British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships travels through Barnsley town centre on Wednesday, July 29.

Sadler Gate and St Mary’s Gate will be closed between 12pm and 11pm.

The following roads will be closed between 2pm and 11pm:

Church Street, Eastgate, Regent Street, Market Hill, Hanson Street, Regent Street South, Royal Street and Eldon Street.

All on-street parking bays in the town centre will be suspended from 5am on:

Eldon Street, Regent Street, Church Street, St Mary’s Place, Sadler Gate and Market Hill.

There will still be access to the Midland Street taxi rank through out the event.
