Charitable teens raise money for animal rescue charity

A GROUP of teenagers have raised £160 for Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity by doing a sponsored walk.

The youngsters took part in the 10 mile walk on Friday, July 17.

They also held a raffle and cake sale on Sunday, July 19, at Deborah Yule Swimming.

All money raised will go to the animal rescue charity.

Danielle Senior said the group chose the animal rescue charity because it is something that they felt "passionate about and want to make a massive difference for the animals".
