A BARNSLEY lass received tips on sewing from The Great British Sewing Bee's Patrick Grant after winning a competition.
Janet Foster had an informal half-day sewing session in London with Savile Row tailor and television personality Patrick Grant.
Each lucky prize winner chatted with Patrick and received hints and tips as they customised a garment of their choice.
Janet said: "I used to sew a lot but most of the time now I make fancy dress outfits for my grandchildren, though I enjoy the satisfaction of making something, whether that’s a garment or some soft furnishings."
