A CALENDAR inspired by the Rylstone WI Calendar Girls has been put together to raise money for Barnsley dementia charity - BIADS.
Nine carers took part along with a BIADS volunteer, a member of staff at the charity and a memory team member.
All the carers involved are members of BIADS who go along to the Friday morning drop-in at the charity’s dementia support centre.
The photographs were taken by Dave Oughton, who has been diagnosed with dementia. His wife Pam raised the money for the first print run by doing a sponsored slim.
The project has been totally funded by the drop-in team themselves and the calender will be officially launched on Friday, July 17.
The calendar costs £7 with BIADS receiving £3.50 from each sale and will be available to order from BIADS as well as being on sale in their charity shops at Royston and The Arcade in Barnsley.
