A FATAL house fire in Elsecar is not thought to be suspicious at this stage, investigators have revealed.
However it is too early to say for sure what caused the fire.
A man and woman tragically died in the incident on Cherry Tree Street on Tuesday evening.
It is thought the fire started in the front bedroom of the house.
A joint investigation by the police and fire service is continuing to determine the cause of the fire.
