A SEARCH was underway this morning in Athersley for a man who was allegedly carrying a knife.
Police were called at around 9.40am following reports a man had made threats against another person.
It was alleged that the man was in possession of a knife.
A number of searches were carried out by officers and a man was arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident.
