A HEARTLESS thief broke into a home in Wombwell and stole sentimental jewellery while the owners were at work.
Police were called at around 6.35pm on Friday, June 26 to reports of a burglary at a home on Aldham Crescent.
It is believed that while the homeowners were at work a thief broke into the house by damaging the back patio door.
A number of items were taken during the burglary, including some jewellery that is of sentimental value to the victim.
Officers investigating are asking for local residents help to find the jewellery.
