A PROGRAMME preparing and supporting parents-to-be in Barnsley through pregnancy and birth has been recognised nationally as an example of excellent practice.
Having a Baby is delivered across children’s centres in Barnsley by a multi-agency partnership.
The programme has been running for two years and in that time over 1,400 people have attended classes.
It has recently been awarded full validation by the Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People's Services (C4EO).
Part of leading children's charity National Children's Bureau, C4EO gathers examples of excellent local practice which have led to significantly improved outcomes for children, young people and their families.
