STAGECOACH Yorkshire is offering free travel to military personnel on National Armed Forces Day which takes place on Saturday.
Uniformed military personnel and veterans wearing their medals are invited to travel for free on local services in Barnsley and the Dearne Valley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and Chesterfield.
Free travel will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The company have also signed a covenant to support the country’s military community.
This recognises the contribution made by service personnel, reservists, veterans and military families to the UK and the value they bring to businesses across the country.
