BARNSLEY College student Adam Briscoe is set to complete his course after a dramatic switch in his educational journey.
Adam, of Yvonne Grove, Wombwell, is in the final stages of his Level 2 children and young people course, having previously completed a construction course at college.
The 24-year-old worked in the construction industry before having a change of heart and deciding to return to the college.
Adam has had work placements at Victoria Day Care Centre and the Kabuki Childcare Centre, both in Barnsley.
He is a keen musician and has used his musical talent to produce songs to develop children’s abilities in reading and rhythm.
