BARNSLEY Council have organised drop in sessions for people to share their views on public health services for children, young people and families.
The council is already responsible for public health services for 5-19 year olds. From October 1, this will extend to the commissioning of public health services for children aged 0-5 years.
These services will be combined from June 2016 that meets the needs of children and young people in Barnsley.
People are invited to drop in at the locations and times below:
The Hoyland Centre, High Croft, Hoyland, 10am to 12pm, June 18
Embankment Centre, Station Road, Thurnscoe, 2pm to 3:30pm, June 22
The Darton Centre, Huddersfield Road, Darton, 10.30am to 12.30pm, June 23
St John’s Community Centre, Church Street, Penistone, 4pm to 6.30pm, June 30
Barnsley Central Library, Wellington House, 1pm to 2.30pm July 2
Better Barnsley Shop, Town Centre, 5-7 Cheapside, 11am to 3pm, July 3
Barnsley Central Library, Wellington House, 4.30pm to 7pm, July 6
