BARNSLEY'S latest Sky Ride event is a friendly and easy bike ride this Sunday (June 14).
Starting from RSPB Old Moor Wetland Centre at 2pm, the four mile ride will go along the Trans Pennine Trail, taking in the beautiful surroundings of Old Moor and Manvers Lakes.
The group will stop for a short break at the Manvers Lake Cafe and on return to the centre there will be an opportunity to look around and shop for souvenirs.
This is a fun and easy way for people who have not cycled for a while to get back into it or a way to get friends or kids riding.
The trip is one hour and 30 minutes long, which includes 45 minutes of cycling.All rides leave at the time stated, so people wanting to take part need to arrive early.
