THE body of a missing woman was found in a wooded area in Wombwell last night.
Formal identification is yet to take place but it is believed to be missing Rotherham woman Cheryl Phillips.
The body was discovered in wooded area off Bradberrry Balk Lane at around 9pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 3).
Mrs Phillips family have been told and police have said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A police spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with Mrs Phillips’ family in this difficult time and we would like to thank the public for their continued support."
