STUDENTS from University Campus Barnsley are holding a temporary exhibition of their coursework in a former menswear shop at the top of The Arcade.
The venue, which until last year had been empty for some time, has been redecorated and named The Contemporary Gallery.
Head of Art and Design Ian Latham said it is "proving to be a great success".
The exhibition will feature a selection of mixed media and specialised work including installations, sculpture, fine art, textiles and jewellery and is an individual response to an open brief.
The Contemporary Gallery in The Arcade will run 10am to 3pm from Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 26. The launch event will be held from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, June 5.
