A BARNSLEY couple have been named as victims of the Alton Towers rollercoaster accident.
Joe Pugh, 18, was reportedly on the Smiler ride with his girlfriend Leah Washington when two carriages crashed.
Four people were serious injured, although the extent of their injuries are not yet known.
A total of 16 people were involved in the collision which happened at around 2pm on Tuesday (June 2).
Alton Towers are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
