PLANNING application searches have been made easier thanks to a new system.
Barnsley Council made changes to its planning explorer following requests from customers.
Improvements to the service include better tracking of applications, publication of responses from consultations and improved presentation of documents.
Coun Roy Miller said: "We’ve listened to what people want from the planning explorer and hope that the new version will make looking for applications quicker and easier. We welcome any feedback people may have in order to further improve this service.”
Feedback can be given by emailing developmentmanagement@barnsley.gov.uk and writing ‘Planning Explorer Feedback’ as the subject.
