A DAY-LONG charity event is kicking off in Walkabout Barnsley today in memory of a Barnsley tot who died after choking on a grape.
The event - in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity - has been organised by the family and friends of little Jack.
Mum Rebecca Overton said: "We would like to give huge thanks to everyone involved in this event in memory of our little boy Jack. This charity is very close to our hearts as Jack was airlifted from his grandparents house in Shropshire to Birmingham Childrens Hospital after choking on a grape.
"The air ambulance runs on charity donations so please, please dig deep and help them to save more lives. We were unlucky but you never know when you might need help yourselves."
The fundraising begins at 12pm with events like Dunk Your Boss, a bouncy castle, face painters and dancers. There will be bucket collections and then tonight there will be a hypnotist, an auction and live music.
