A FUN bug hunt will take place at Penny Pie Park in Pogmoor on Sunday, June 7.
Between 11am and 1pm, families are invited to explore the park and investigate the types of bugs they find.
The event, which is part of the Love Where Your Live campaign, aims to inspire people to enjoy their local park and learn more about nature.
It is part of the Love Where You Live June volunteering month, which aims to get people involved in events in their local area.
Families will be charged £1 per bug hunting sheet and all entrants will receive a prize. All proceeds from the event will go towards improving the park.
