A SHOCKING photograph has emerged of a serious house fire on Silkstone View in Platts Common.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at around 2pm on Friday (May 22).
It is believed to have started in the roof and the cause in under investigation.
Four fire engines were forced to attend along with an aerial ladder platform.
Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident.
