A WOMBWELL housing project to create new affordable homes has been halted after the construction company went into administration.
Work ceased on the site on Roy Kilner Road after developers Southdale went into administration.
The development was meant to see 37 houses being built.
A spokesperson from Berneslai Homes said: "Negotiations are currently ongoing with a view to other companies taking over the development of the site but these negotiations are in the early stages.
"The timescales for re-commencement of work and completion will form part of these discussions."
