ARSONISTS have caused smoke damage to homes on Summer Lane in Wombwell after setting fire to rubbish in a back yard.
A garden shed was destroyed and a row of terraced houses suffered damage including broken windows by the intensity of the blaze, and melted doors and guttering.
Firefighters were called to the incident at 11.25pm on Thursday (May 21), and an investigation found the fire had probably been started deliberately.
