An event is taking place today for deaf awareness day.
Local experts will team up with charities to raise awareness of hearing loss and highlight the support available.
Organisations on hand to offer advice include Health Watch Barnsley, Action on Hearing Loss and Barnsley Deaf Forum.
The event is being held at the Better Barnsley shop between 10am and 2pm today.
Anyone is welcome to come along and find out more and talk about the help on offer.
