FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a home on Silkstone View in Platts Common on Friday (May 22).
The fire broke out at around 2pm. It is believed to have started in the roof and the cause is under investigation.
Four fire engines were forced to attend along with an aerial ladder platform.
Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident.
