A FORMER town centre nightclub could be transformed into a church.
Hope House Church wants to take on the House Nightclub building for use as a community building.
Spokesman Paul Bedford said: "We want to take that building on and it will stop it being an eyesore. It will be used by the church.
"This is a long term development; we don't want to demolish the building or change it dramatically, just change the use.
"It will give us scope as a church to use the building more effectively."
